Bianni sighed slightly as she looked upon the pine tree that marked the end of her journey. She and Avander had parted a while ago and despite her understanding she felt a certain sense of loneliness without his company. She was still infuriated about the way he'd behaved during their last battle so perhaps it was best they'd parted. For now at least. She had high hopes that they were to meet again soon. She cared little for the opinion of her father on the matter, mainly because she knew that he loved her dearly and would see her happy. She had a tiny little crush on her friend, which didn't really help much. Even if he was a mere commoner and she descended from old money, it hardly mattered. Nobility and the gentry, they were not supposed to mix according to customs. While Bianni understood why, she hardly desired to uphold such a code when she was not raised as that which she appeared to be. It had been quite the surprise to discover the true name and heritage of her father.
Clutching a letter from her half sister Caiomhe looked up at the pine tree. "Once more I face a world that ought not to be combined with another. Is this my curse? To be forever caught between two world, never belonging in one or the other?" She muttered it softly to herself, wondering how she always ended up in situations like that. It seemed illogical, while it made perfect sense to her. It was her curse and she would bear it with pride. If she was doomed to face such a fate the least she could do was hold her head high and not show any unseemly signs of displeasure with what she was. That simply would not do. She refused to bring more shame to the family than she already had by simply existing. Illegitimate child of a noble. Yet her father had made sure she was treated just the same as his other children when she was brought to the estate. That simple for him to bring about change, even if she wasn't fully accepted.
The last steps up to the boundary were a challenge to the young lady. She felt as though half her body resisted the pull, distaste toward her own divided halves once more playing up. "Have courage and be kind." Bianni reminder herself, absently flipping her flames over her shoulder as she checked her weapon on her side. A gift from her mother. A unicorn horn, or so her father said. The horn of Kee'pah. That had been the name of the wrongly slain creature that had once had this horn as adornment upon it's head. Story or reality, Caiomhe knew not. All she knew was that the weapon favoured her. She had a few weapons in reserve by nature but rarely used them. They were mostly concealed in the confines of her backpack. Two daggers and a shortsword of silver. Lycans were a problem, or so she'd been told. A shortbow was slung across her back and her quiver still held a good many of the arrows she'd taken upon her departure. "This is it, Bianni." She told herself as she pushed through the magic veil. "This is the start of a new life." She said and looked at the camp she would call home for now. It already looked far more chaotic than Bianni was usually comfortable with. Not particularly promising.

((Things will be less confusing later on? For now, Bianni is what Caiomhe calls herself. It's part of her history, which will slowly be revealed (as I actually find out myself)))
