Robert lives in Chicago, Illinois with Primrose. Robert and Amelia have been divorced for twelve years, and he and Calla aren't exactly on good terms. While he was living in the New Rome, Robert and Amelia were going through a nasty divorce. During that time is when his drinking problem went from bad to worse. One night, while completely intoxicated, a Councilman asked Robert (because Robert and Amelia's marriage was quite the talk of New Rome) if he could take Amelia out. This lead to a full on bar fight, and resulted with a lawsuit against Robert for manslaughter. So, one thing lead to another, and Robert got exiled from New Rome and took Prim with him.
